5 Times Rajkummar Rao Proved That He Is The Die-Hard Romantic Hero We All Need!

Rajkummar Rao – one of the most prolific actors in Bollywood. No, he did not turn a star overnight, but he struggled to make his mark in the industry. Right from doing blink-and-miss roles to carrying the film completely on his shoulders, Rajkummar Rao has come a long way. 

There is no doubt that Raj gets into the skin of the characters he plays. He has been appreciated for the kind of diverse roles he takes up. Be it Shahid, Trapped, Omerta, or Bose: Dead/Alive, he has proven what he can do as an actor.

2. Ludo

Rajkummar Rao was seen in a new avatar where he played a die-hard Mithun Da fan and was a lover who would do anything to keep his loved one happy. While we all felt bad for Raj, as he was taken for granted by Fatima Sana Shaikh in the film, we couldn’t fail to notice how beautifully he essayed the role. It felt like romance is something that comes naturally to him. 

3. Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana

Rajkummar’s character in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana was so pure that we all felt a strong connection to him. The love story of Satyendra and Aarti is something we all secretly admire. Be it Rajkummar writing a love letter for Kriti or trying to express his feelings for her, Raj turned into the lover we all want. Arranged turned to love – Raj goes the extra mile to win the heart of Kriti Kharbanda. The song Jogi and Ban Ja Tu Galli Banaras Ki showed how beautifully Raj can portray a man in love.

3. Behen Hogi Teri

Every guy must have fallen prey to the dialogue “Behen Jaisi Hai Teri, Khayal Rakhna Iska” when what you really want is to fall in love with that girl and marry her. Here, Rajkummar Rao’s eyes spoke a thousand words and fought against the society and fell in love with the girl, everyone wanted him to treat as a sister. Aaahhh! the way Raj looks at the love of his life!

4. Roohi

Well, Rajkummar Rao can even love a possessed girl with the exact same affection he would have shown to any normal girl. The song Kiston will make us fall head over heels in love with Rajkummar for being an absolute sweetheart. He portrays fear and love in the most convincing way and this is what makes him the actor of the decade. This horror-comedy did scare us, but it was Raj who shone like a bright star. Again, not to forget the affectionate look that Raj has!

5. Citylights

We all can say to Rajkummar Rao – Muskurane Ki Wajah Tum Ho. Exactly how he showed us what love is with this song, we all fell for his simplicity. His chemistry with his real-life girlfriend Patralekha was something that stayed with us for the longest. Raj made us wonder, how in the world does he speak the language of love with his eyes.
