5 Bollywood Songs With the weirdest lyrics ever!

From the industry that gave us some of the most beautiful lyrics on earth, there are also some less than savory songs that make us wonder just what the lyricists were thinking! From Badshah to Himesh’s songs, here are some of the weirdest lyrics from Bollywood songs!

1. Main Ladki Po-Po-Po

While we definitely rewatch everyone’s favourite Hera Pheri a thousand times for the unmatchable comedy, it’s songs, on the other hand, are difficult to consume. Case in point: Main Ladki Po-Po-Po. What does even Po-Po-Po even mean? The song makes absolutely no sense, and we don’t think even the F.B.I. can crack this code.

2. Main Maal Gaadi

Who sings Main maal gadi tu dhakka laga on their wedding night? Juhi Chawla and Anil Kapoor, apparently. In Andaz, the duo seems to have an affinity for trains, so much so that they carved an entire song that symbolizes their love for trains and for each other at the same time. Creative use, but still weird.

3. Tooh

In Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Kareena Kapoor Khan talks about appreciating butts, of all things! Of various sizes and nationalities too! With lyrics that go Left right kare chain churaaye Tooh!, we can see even the oldest members of the party dancing, or specifically, doing a desi version of the twerk while dancing to some really weird lyrics.

4. Ice Cream Khaungi

In The Xposé, a supposed action thriller, a party song is going on. The lyrics? Ice Cream Khaungi, Kashmir Jaungi, Sholo Mein Bhadke Jiya. Why? We seriously do not understand why Himesh Reshammiya & Yo Yo Honey Singh are seen belting this song out, and the resultant effect of the song and the dancing is some weird mismatch we are more than happy to put behind us.

5. Genda Phool

Why are contemporary Bollywood singers hell-bent on ruining beautiful classic songs? Badshah belts out lyrics like

Bum Tera Gotay Khaye, Kamar Pe Teri Butterfly, Body Teri Makkhan Jaise, Khane Mein Bas Tu Butter Khaye…

Come on Baby Kick It, Kick It, Katun Teri Ticket Ticket, Khelta Nhi Cricket Wicket, Par Lelu Teri Wicket Wicket…

while using the classic Bengali song Lal Genda Phool. Who thought this was a good idea?
