While every career has it’s up and down, nothing compares to the Bollywood biz where you are a star one moment and a flop in the next one. While many Bollywood celebs have risen to stardom with numerous hit films, there are some movies they wished were erased from their filmography, and most probably from their lives. Here are such celebs and their movies.
1. Saif Ali Khan – Humshakals
Humshakals received many negative reviews, and the overacting and the lack of good comedy did not help. Saif Ali also decided to try on a woman’s get-up for some reason, but it’s heartening to know that he was as horrified by his film choice as we were. He is reported as saying, “The film didn’t have a script as such, it was all there in Sajid’s mind. I did whatever he asked me to. I did the film thinking that it will help me expand my market, but obviously, that wasn’t a clever idea. I’ve been introspecting a lot and will never repeat a mistake that was Humshakals”.
2. Katrina Kaif – Boom
While Katrina is a megastar in Bollywood now, her debut was anything but a boon for her. Boon flopped massively, and she was heavily criticized for her role too. Katrina regrets doing the film, saying, “The film wasn’t planned, it just happened. It might not be a great launching pad, but I get to work with a legend like Amitabh Bachchan. When I signed the film, I was not aware of Indian culture and tradition. Had I known that aspect of India, I would not have done the film. I would not do anything like that again. And if this means that I won’t get to do films anymore, I won’t, especially if film-makers expect me to do all the stuff that they see in Boom”.

3. Twinkle Khanna – Mela
Twinkle’s last film was Mela, a film she has repeatedly said was a mistake. Well, not in so many words. But she’s often used humor to express her thoughts on the film, with tweets saying “Melas, by and large, can be hazardous to health- I would know :)” and more recently, putting this post on her social media:
4. Abhay Deol – Aisha
We love Abhay’s unconventional movie choices like Dev.D and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, but Aisha was a hit and a miss. Even the actor feels so because he is quoted as saying, “The movie had nothing to do with Jane Austen’s Emma as it was reported. When I was shooting, I realised that the film was more about clothes than actual acting. I even read reviews of the movie that praised the clothes. I would like to say today that I will never ever be part of a film like Aisha in my lifetime. It’s not the kind of film I’d like to do”.

5. Shahid Kapoor – Shaandaar, Chup Chup Ke and Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi
Shahid is always known for his versatile acting, doing roles that range from comedy to romance. But there are some movies he regrets doing. About the films he regrets doing, he said, “Shaandaar being the first on that list. Chup Chup Ke maybe I wouldn’t want to do and maybe Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi –because I think it was trying to be an international film and we didn’t have the kind of expertise to do that kind of computer graphics”.
