Netflix StreamFest is just around the corner, and we are sure all you guys are super excited to watch free shows and movies during the entire weekend. But let’s face it, shows go on for 5 or 6 or even 15 seasons, and no matter how late we stay up, we are not going to finish watching them in entirety, So why not give movies a chance? We have curated a list of movies that you can watch for free during Dec 5 and 6, on Netflix, for free. Bring out the popcorn!
2-3 hours of fun that keep us on the edge of our seats as we watch characters solve mysteries? Count us in! We have Keanu Reeves as John Wick in this eponymous movie about a hit man who will stop at nothing to get revenge on a gangster’s son who kills his dog (how dare he!). There’s our all time favourite Gangs Of Wasseypur (Part I & II) where Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Manoj Bajpai give us the performance of a lifetime. Andhadhun and Kahaani are films to watch in one sitting, and will leave you in awe.

Netflix India is a host to numerous comedy films that will leave you in splits – Welcome, Phir Hera Pheri, and Andaz Apna Apna are classics to watch out for. There’s The Hangover and Johnny English series to make you question your sanity, and there’s Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. to give you a dose of comedy plus drama. How can we forget 3 Idiots – the film which continues to shape and inspire us!
Period romance? Check. 90s romance? Check. Oscar-worthy romance? Check. With movies like Pride And Prejudice, Her, The Lunchbox, The Notebook, La La Land, and Dev D, how can we not be a little in love with love? With stories that range from classic romance to science fiction romantic comedy, Netflix has it all.

Car chases and gunfights, sinister plots and action heroes, what else do we need on a chill weekend? Netflix has a variety of action films to quench our curiosity, starting with the classic Bourne series about a man who has lost his memory but who is involved in a deadly conspiracy. Other series include Fast & Furious, and Mission Impossible. There’s also Extraction, the most-watched original film in Netflix’s history.
Are ghosts and paranormal activities your thing? Then get hooked on Netflix, where movies like The Shining, The Nun, and #Alive will send shivers up your spine. Trust us, with dead bodies popping up out of nowhere and ghosts scaring the bejesus out of you, you will not want to get up for days.

6. Sci-Fi/ Fantasy
Action, adventure, horror, fantasy and thriller – where do you get all these at one place? The world of science fiction and fantasy of course! Netflix has a horde of sci-fi/fantasy movies to keep us entertained all weekend – The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Matrix and Indiana Jones series, and Star Trek movies ensure fun like nothing else!

After an exhausting week of work, sometimes we just want to relax and watch something light, which is exactly what animated movies provide. Movies like Kung Fu Panda, How To Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me, Madagascar series, and Hotel Transylvania are fun and light and just right for an entire weekend.
