Everything we know about ‘PhoneBhoot’, the Katrina-Ishaan-Siddhanth starrer

ICYMI the first look of PhoneBhoot was released yesterday, and it looks amazing. This horror-comedy stars an unlikely trio of Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter and is set to release in 2021.

PhoneBhoot seems to be the best and only positive thing Bollywood has seen this lockdown, and here is what we know about it so far:

1. It looks like Ghost Busters’ Bollywood version

PhoneBhoot seems to be Bollywood’s take on the popular Ghost Buster’s series, specially since the captions in all the social media posts was about being a “One stop shop for all Bhoot related problems”. PhoneBhoot seems to be an interesting take on the ghost hunting concept, and we cannot wait for it to come out.

2. The first look was shot pre-lockdown

As mentioned by practically everyone who promoted the first look on social media, the dynamic first look was #ShotBeforeLockdown, hence the lack of social distancing, masks and sanitization (aah, remember those good ol’ days)

3. Katrina Kaif is schooling the 2 boys

In the various #PhoneBhoot clips released, one can clearly see how Kat is the only composed and put-together one. Ishaan and Siddhant are running around and playing with toys (literally). At one point Katrina even says, “come come, see the grownups”. NGL, we are living for this.

4. Siddhant Chaturvedi is beautiful

While this may not be a new fact, we love that Siddhant Chaturvedi is in his movie and finally getting the spotlight he deserves! We’re here for his non-nepotist talent and goofy hunk vibes (thank you, lord).

5. The undeniable Ishaan-Siddhant bromance

By the first look itself, we know we are going to love PhoneBhoot because of Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s bromance. They have a goofy chemistry that is natural and not at all forced. If they had so much fun while shooting the first look, imagine shooting the real movie.

The first look of PhoneBhoot is one of the best things to happen to Bollywood, specially now. With so much negativity, cat-fighting, and “cancelling” going around, it’s nice to see something like this coming out.

Directed by Gurmeet Singh, PhoneBhoot is set to release in 2021!
