10 Things You Can Do This Diwali Instead of Bursting Crackers

Our favourite festival of the year is finally here! And although the idea of celebrating Diwali the way we did in childhood sounds super tempting, we are aware that it has some serious consequences. Which means…crackers are off-limits! But don’t you worry, I’ve made a to-do list for you to make your Diwali equally fun and wholesome! Here are 10 things you can do this Diwali instead of bursting crackers.

Deck up and wear an outfit so bomb, your padoswali aunties can’t stop talking about you.

Hog on that Diwali mithai guilt-free because YOLO! It’s alright, you can get back on your diet from Monday onwards.

8 / 10

Post an Instagram story and give your crush a reason to text you. Because you know the best way to shoot your shot is posting cute selfies and hoping for them to reply to it. Am I right or am I right?

7 / 10

Pray to the goddess of wealth and hope that you don’t go broke before the 15th of every month hereafter.

6 / 10

Think about how quickly the year has passed and cry a little, but also be proud of how far you’ve come.

5 / 10

Come out of your room and give your parents the biggest shock of their lives. Spend some time with them so they know you’re capable of doing things other than scrolling on your phone.

4 / 10

Donate those clothes you don’t need or fit in anymore. Shop Local! Try to make someone else’s Diwali happy too!

3 / 10

Light up your home with pretty candles and diyas because your home deserves to shine too!

2 / 10

Enjoy this long weekend to the fullest, because (i hate to break it to you) you won’t have another this year.

1 / 10

Meet your friends you haven’t seen in a long time and roast each other like you always did, so you know the pandemic has changed nothing between you all. DO NOT FORGET TO WEAR A MASK!

HAPPY DIWALIIIII!!!!
