5 brand new web series on Netflix, Amazon Prime, MXPlayer, Aha and Zee5 for you to binge watch

In case you’re looking for some good weekend TV bingeing, here’s a list of the latest web series that have either released today or this week. Spend your weekend bingeing episodes of thrillers, comedies, horror and crime series:

Love ka Panga, MXPlayer

“Love ka panga, emotion ka danga” is pretty basic. Here’s the premise: A desi jaat boy (Sumit) from Haryana meets a sophisticated girl (Neha) from Delhi. The sparks begin to fly when these poles apart personalies cross path on a solo trip to Manali. If you don’t feel like thinking at all this weekend, and want to watch yet another predictable love story, you can do so (for free) on MXPlayer.

What the Constitution Means to Me, Amazon Prime

This Tony-Award winning play has been adapted to fit the small screen, AKA as a web series. Starring Heidi Schrek, What the Constitution Means to Me explores themes such as women’s rights, immigration, and domestic abuse. For those of us in India who couldn’t watch the play IRL, here’s our chance to see it online. I’m getting Fleabag vibes, and since I love Fleabag, there is no way I am missing this one.

Adham, Aha

Moral conflicts, life altering decisions and contrasting situations converge in this three tale anthology revolving around the idea that “Morality is a changing goalpost”. This 3-episode drama is available to stream on Aha. Directed by Sarjun km, Bharath Neelakantan, Siva Ananth and starring Jayaprakash, Rohini, M.Praveen, Prasanna, Gowtham Sundararajan in lead roles, this looks like an exciting drama.

Poison Season 2, Zee5

Poison is back with another season on Zee5. Premised to be a tale of love, power, and betrayal starring Aftab Shivdasani, Raai Laxmi, Rahul Dev, it looks like every masala movie ever: really good looking people struggling with love affairs, money problems and stabbing everyone they know in the back. Typical, but a full on no-brainer. You can stream the second season of this series on Zee5.

Someone Has to Die, Netflix

Someone Has to Die is tailor-made for everyone who is enamored by the shady lives of elites. In conservative 1950s Spain, the alleged relationship between a young man and a Mexican ballerino creates an uproar of harrowing consequences. Starring Carmen Maura,Cecilia Suárez,Ester Expósito, this series looks exciting, wacky, sexy and definitely a fun ride.
